Biography of - Marie Priestley
Hi,
I have been in this type of business for just over four years and although I have another business that makes me a steady income, it is quite an old, well established business with not much room for growth.
Why did I decide to start up this business? Well I as a mother of four and with a family to run, I find it difficult to maintain a full-time job as well. I will always need perfumes and cosmetics and at these prices and quality, I can get the smells that I love at a price I can afford.
I can share the perfumes with my family and friends, while adding the catalogue into another little catalogue business that I already make a few hundred a month from.
I intend to hold a few little get togethers with my neighbours to let them smell the dozens of samples. I may even try a little bit of door knocking and see if I enjoy meeting the new people.
Most of all I know from experience that, with a little bit of encouragement, my business will grow and with a little bit of self promotion, socially and on the internet, so will my team and sales. My main efforts , however, will be in helping people that I introduce to the business to get themselves set up and to show them how to get what they want from it. That may sound very unselfish, but in this type of business I have found that when you help other people, they will do the same with the people that they share the business with and so on.
This, I have found, is the best way to build a legacy that you can pass on to your children. Needless to say, my kids love the idea of never having to do a days work after I pass the business on to them.
I can foresee only good things for this business as they are very forward thinking, with a great background and a solid, reputable supplier. All they need is a few good people to let it multiply. I look forward to doing business with you and will help you in any way that I can.
